With 2018 drawing to a close on Monday night, Double Up Dee at Bathurst became the last greyhound for the year to contribute $200 to the Ladbrokes Monthly Medal scheme.

The win, which incidentally was a new 450m track record, took the 2018 total box L (one) winners across NSW GBOTA TAB venues to 614.

As a result, $122,800 has been raised and contributed to participants back pockets.

NSW GBOTA Chairman, Joe Cotroneo, said that the Ladbrokes partnership remained invaluable.

“Ladbrokes have been partners with the NSW GBOTA for five years now, and it is because of this relationship additional prizemoney can be returned to participants,” Cotroneo said.

“Despite a range of tracks having track renovations, a massive $122,800 was earnt through the Ladbrokes Monthly Medal system which goes directly to owners and trainers.

“This initiative developed by Ladbrokes, is critical to the returning the maximum amount possible to participants, and we thank Jason Scott and his team for their ongoing support of the Bathurst, Bulli, Lismore, Gosford, Gunnedah and Wentworth Park tracks with this program,” Cotroneo said.
